Hello and welcome back everyone! November is half a month back and I'm just now getting to posting the work I completed that past month.
It wasn't a lot as commissions have slowed to a halt since then, but hey, some is better than none! I do need to advertise my commissions properly again, though at this time of year there are fewer commissions due to the holiday season and events from doll companies. Just a quick touch on the FYI: I raised my prices by €5 each service. Rent has gone up, again, and gas and electric prices are sky high, so I gotta adjust my prices accordingly to survive. Thank you for understanding. All existing estimates will be honored of course! Anyway, things to show today are the two Fairyland RealFee girl bodies, a Dream Valley Olivia and her bunny ears, and my own Dollzone Raymond-1, who newly arrived. Hello and welcome to Autumn! I was a very busy bee in September, more so than I have been most of this year regarding BJD work. I am almost through all of my commissions that I have on me currently (just 2 body blushes including mani- and pedicures are missing) until the next ones arrive.
Anyway, things that I worked on and completed this past September are two Luts ZuzuDelf Minimi Corni faceups with their bodies and pedestals also painted, a modded Resinsoul Ju on a modded Resinsoul Zhen body and fantasy parts blushing, and then faceups on a Peakswoods Lune the Dark Elf, a Peakswoods Goldie, a Mystic Kids Elisa Elf, an Akagidoll Yusri, and a Msytic Kids Petra. I also started on the two RealFees but didn't finish them until this month (October) so they'll be in the next update. Important to mention, this blog post contains full (doll) nudity! Be advised, that this is a long blog post. Without further ado, onto some pictures under the read more break! It's May, so now I am gonna post the completed work from April, but before I get into that I wanted to go over the FYI.
The cost of living has gone up horribly this year along with my rent, so I needed to increase my prices as well. Please see Commission & Prices for the new costs. All estimates I have already provided are valid and won't be changed. Commissions are still open, so feel free to contact me for a quote or a slot! Now with the FYI out of the way, let's cover what aesthetics I did the last month. I worked on a Dollzone Po, an Iplehouse EID Gentle Akando, a pair of Miracle Doll 1/4 girl feet, a Dollmore Kid Sona, and a pair of Fairyland MNF Roller Skates. Without further ado, onto some pictures under the break! As many of you have already seen, I have reopened commissions a week ago on my birthday. I am still open to accepting a few more slots, so if you need a faceup from within the EU, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
I was a busy bee in March, so I got quite a few more things to show to finish up the month with work I've completed. There's 2 faceups and 3 body blushes, so please be aware there is doll nudity in this post. Today I will share a Granado 15Ascent Ninth and his body, a Maskcat Doll 2020 Anniversary Event Cat doll, and the biggest of my commissions this round, a Dollzone Chun who got the full treatement including mods. So without further ado, onto the pictures under the read more break! I have good news this rainy last day of September. I have pretty much caught up with all my outstanding commissions, to the point I finally feel ready to take on more work. I haven't been commission-less these past couple of months, taken on some here and there. I admit I was dealing with some creative burnout, but I am finally getting back on track.
So this FYI's TL;DR is that I am reopening commissions this coming week! I am aiming for opening slots on Wednesday October 5th, 2022. Important to mention is that I can only take on heads and mani/pedicures this round as I have two full body commissions on me right now that recently arrived, and to prevent a heavy backlog I want to limit how many body blushes I do a round. Thank you for understanding! Now that that's out of the way, I have a lot of new work to show! I got a Birdcube Lipu head and bunny ears, a Dream Valley Bustet body, a Dream Valley Rita, an Autumn Goblin Tales Mossling (all 5 faceplates and the body), as well as a Smart Doll Chaos V01 to show off. Without further ado, onto some pictures under the break! I've been a bit scattered this month due to various reasons, but I was able to finish 3 more faceups, so that's a positive end for this month for sure. Two commissions, and one I squeezed in for myself as well after a setback with one commission that is still a WIP, but that is okay, I am able to continue on it this week.
I do have a couple WIPs on my desk currently, and 2 more incoming from April (shipping from the USA to Austria can be really, really slow!). Once I get through those, I will reopen slots. Currently I am aiming for mid to late June for opening slots again. So keep your eyes peeled, I will post here for sure when I am able to take on new commissions! Anyway, today I'm going to show an April Story Juliet with an eye mod, my Dollzone Minas, and a Gem of Doll Capricorn plus her horns. Without further ado, onto the pictures under the read more break! Hello all! It's been a hot minute since I last posted, not for lack of having you content to post, but rather I had a lot of errangs and appointments these past couple of weeks. I am so grateful for everyone that commissioned me through my birthday sale last month, it's been a tremendous boost of confidence and joy!
I am still expecting a few commissions to come in, therefore I am still keeping my slots closed for now. But in better news, I have a lot of new things to share! I have an Asleep Eidolon Agnes in SD scale, a Doll Family-A Auriel, a Dollzone Ivana set of wings, a Luts KDF Summer Event 2013 head, and a set of Smart Doll hands. I'm slowly getting back on track of things and packed up all my finished commissions to ready them for shipping to their owners.
I would also like to apologize for my lack of communication lately, there's been a lot of stress in my family life along with a worsening of my mental state, but I am slowly pulling myself together again. I am bound and determined to answer the last couple of emails to confirm shipping addresses and quotes, as well as fill out the customs forms for each one. Anyway, things to show today are a Withdoll Ash elf, a modded Smart Doll Chaos Envisage, the Dollzone Venus Halo body (B45-017) with her fantasy/SciFi parts, and a Volks SD Saki. I've been really dropping the ball here, and I want to apologize for that. 2020 has been getting to me like everyone else, and the weather as well as my day job have been wearing me down. But, I am still trying to work through my backlog.
This post will show a lot of new work, such as the Resinsoul Twilight centaur body, Resinsoul Dai body, jointed hands in SD and MSD size from Resinsoul, a Fairyland MNF Dark Elf Soo, and my Doll in Mind Bellosse. I have mostly been working on dolls either on the weekends or before and after work.
I have quite a bit to post today! A Dollzone Chinese Dragon Girl Summer Event 2010 body, a Sensei's Dolls Sweet Elf Enni, Crobidoll Lance, LoongSoul 68cm Boy Hands, and a Dollzone NiuNiu. Without further ado, onto the pictures under the break! I was finally able to finish up a large commission a day or two ago! It consisted of 3 SD heads and two pet dolls. The heads I had already finished and posted over a week ago, but the two pet dolls, LoongSoul Poi, I finished up this week. I'm quite pleased with them as is the client!

Without further ado, onto some pictures under the break! Since the last post, I had a couple more commissions trickle in, and I was able to squeeze one of my own dolls in while working on them! So today I have for showing the redo on a Goblin Tales Mossling in fall colors as his body blush flaked off, and the face up on my Dream Valley Ann.
Without further ado, onto some pictures under the read more break! I've made great headway on a huge multipart commission these past two weeks! I painted 3 Dollzone Dale critters on the creature body in different themes. They each got a fantasy face up and body blush. I'm quite proud of them! I wanted to wait to post them all together until I had them all painted. I finally finished them up yesterday. Either way, both the client and I are pleased! Without further ado, onto some pictures! So here we have the different themed Dollzone Dales! Air, Water, and Earth respectively. I was given pretty much free reign within those themes, though the client did want magic symbols/tattoos on them, so I created some! I went a little overboard with the details, but I think they were well worth the effort.  Holding an important meeting I might make them some fitting eyes for their themes, but for now I need a break from working on Dollzone Dale, heh. Next up is a Dollshe Saint on the Hound body, I might even be able to start on him tomorrow!
That's all from me for now, until next time! Since I have run out of commissions, and don't have any new ones lined up, I've been redoing my own dolls. That's something I need to periodically do anyway, heh. This past week I had my Soom Beyla/Glot/Eliv with a Peapod Doll mermaid tail, and April Story Betty along with her hands on my work desk to be repainted. Without further ado, onto some pictures! So here we have my April Story Betty as well as her hands. Her hands had gotten horribly chipped since the last time I painted them. The blue french tip was a last minute decision, but I'm glad I did! Her face acquired two more piercings since last time (yes, I do applied piercings and can even imbed them in the resin if so requested), and her eyebrows are lighter to match her new wig!  Before and After A quick comparison of her last and current face up. Her scar is less red this time, but still there. It simply looks more healed than previously. If you'd like to see a picture of her with her wig, I have one in the Owner Gallery! Next up is my Soom Beyla OE/human head in cream white. She's a little siren girl, so scales were a must! She was quite the restoration process. I'm at least her 3rd owner, and for some parts I'm at least the 4th. Her body is a Soom Glot torso with Soom Eliv arms and ears, and a Peapod Doll mermaid tail that I later uncovered to be a sakura pink color AND one of 2 with a fade from dark butt to lighter fin in this color! What a special little girl!  Sales pictures I scored her on the DoA MP for a good price. She was double painted (as in she was painted once, and then painted over again without removing the previous paint job), and boy was that annoying to remove.  Mmmm.... doll soup! First things first, I took her apart (some of her joints were glued together from acrylic paint...) and threw her to soak in some 99.9% isopropyl alcohol. I started with the little bowl to clean her torso of the caked on paint and the glitter.  Starting to see her true potential! After much scrubbing I got at least her torso clean. Her hands were still with a lot of paint on them, so I left them to soak longer. I quickly realized she'd need to soak fully in alcohol for at least 24 hours to remove the remaining paint. So I did that. I poured 500ml of alcohol into some tupperware and put all her painted tail pieces in there.  The fin is starting to get clean too! So here my suspicion of her fin being pink was confirmed! Under the hot pink and white paint was a layer of purple and gold. The purple and gold paint sadly stained her a little in places, but that's nothing I can't hide with the new blush job!  All clean! After 1.5 days of soaking in 99.9% isopropyl alcohol, she was finally as clean as I was going to be able to get her. I replaced all the elastic in her and restrung her. She can do some cute things with her tail! Her face up is above obviously, but I haven't documented her body blush yet.  Hello, Morgan! So here she is all painted and refreshed! I slathered her in Aztec Gold PearlEx shimmer pigment after blushing her with reds. Please excuse the cruddy cell phone picture, my camera on my phone is getting dated...
The clothing is just spare stuff I had laying around, but the wig is hers and the eyes I specially made for her too. I wanted her to shimmer between gold and red as her parents are a Siren and a Fire Elemental. I think she suits them both! I'm so glad I got her after all as I'd been eyeing her on the MP for a few weeks already, trying to talk myself out of her. But I've wanted a YoSD mermaid for years now and was super sad when Peapod Doll closed... Either way, all's good! That's all from me for now, until next time! |
