I'm a little late to posting the work of June, but as they say, better late than never!
I was a busy bee this past month, completing 4 faceups, a full body blush, an extensive chest and arm tattoo and some fantasy parts.
One faceup (MYOU 1/6 Gina) I cannot show as the sealant bubbled right before I took documentation pictures. I did document it, but wiped it shortly after. I will redo it during this month, the client is alright with this.
Anyway, on the list to share is a Dream Valley Apocalypse Horseman Withered, a YBee Doll Nora and her body, and last but not least is a Luts Kid Delf Zuzu Corni, her fantasy parts (ears and tail), and her body (Luts KDF Girl Romantic Body), which also received a mani/pedicure.
So without ado, onto the pictures and ramblings under the cut!
As many of you have already seen, I have reopened commissions a week ago on my birthday. I am still open to accepting a few more slots, so if you need a faceup from within the EU, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
I was a busy bee in March, so I got quite a few more things to show to finish up the month with work I've completed. There's 2 faceups and 3 body blushes, so please be aware there is doll nudity in this post.
Today I will share a Granado 15Ascent Ninth and his body, a Maskcat Doll 2020 Anniversary Event Cat doll, and the biggest of my commissions this round, a Dollzone Chun who got the full treatement including mods.
So without further ado, onto the pictures under the read more break!
I've made great headway on a huge multipart commission these past two weeks! I painted 3 Dollzone Dale critters on the creature body in different themes. They each got a fantasy face up and body blush. I'm quite proud of them!
I wanted to wait to post them all together until I had them all painted. I finally finished them up yesterday. Either way, both the client and I are pleased!
Without further ado, onto some pictures!
So here we have the different themed Dollzone Dales! Air, Water, and Earth respectively. I was given pretty much free reign within those themes, though the client did want magic symbols/tattoos on them, so I created some! I went a little overboard with the details, but I think they were well worth the effort.
I might make them some fitting eyes for their themes, but for now I need a break from working on Dollzone Dale, heh. Next up is a Dollshe Saint on the Hound body, I might even be able to start on him tomorrow!
That's all from me for now, until next time!
I hope all the USA peeps had a great Thanksgiving and Black Friday! I was a busy bee and painted the dyed Dollzone Scorpio. I've taken a few days off from work to spend time with my mom and stepdad as they flew in on Tuesday! It's been fun, but boy am I beat from all the sightseeing we've been doing!
Anyway, onto some pictures of the Scorpio!
I did not do the dyeing this time (hence why it doesn't look terrible!), but MisMantis did it before she sent it to me to paint for the client. The concept is based on Sedona rock formations with succulents all along the back.
It was an interesting challenge to paint as the Scorpio is dyed dark tan. No matter what I tried, the orange pastels simply didn't want to show up after sealing, so I went darker instead. The succulent rosettes were fun to do, and I covered everything with interference green shimmer powder, so she sparkles nicely!
Now for the FYI:
I'm re-opening commissions for limited slots! I have one new commission on me so far, but I have room for more! With my work schedule I can't take on as much as I used to and keep a reasonable turn around time...
So for commissions, no more than 2 parts per slot, like 2 heads, or a head and a body, etc. I'm hoping I can keep on top of them better this time! I haven't been officially open for commissions in so long, but I crave fresh ideas to realize!
Oh! Another thing to mention, I was sent some owner pictures! Be sure to hop into the Owner Gallery to see! I absolutely love owner pictures, and am sad at how few I get... (hint hint send me owner pictures).
That's all from me for now, until next time!
I finished up two face ups for a new client from the USA yesterday, on their Hujoo Freya sisters. That sculpt is such a cutie, and so affordable! I painted for them a white and a light grey one.
I also bought a light box finally, after like... 6 years of being a face up artist? About damn time that I did. I think one of the magnets in it is flipped though, so I have to take it apart a bit and see what's going on in there. But for €11 it's not bad.
Anyway, onto some pictures that I took in the light box!
Here are the two lovely girls. I wasn't able to get the white one's head off, so I wrapped her body in cling wrap and called it good. The light grey one was a good girl and let me decapitate her for painting. That sounds so horrible outside of the hobby, haha! Oh well. I'm just waiting to hear from the client and get paid for shipping so I can send these two cuties home.
I'm waiting on two boxes of commissions currently, and then later another, and then I should be able to open commissions again.
Until next time!
I know, I know... the title is lame, but it's relevant to the new face up I did! Yesterday and today I got to work on a Dearmine Dune in white skin. So far I got his face and ears done, and still need to do his claws on his hands and feet. I will update again once I finish those with detail pictures of the ears, hands, and feet.
Anyway, onto some pictures!
He belongs to a very good friend of mine and is meant to look like a lynx. She loves the way the face up turned out and can't wait to get him home. Soon!
In other news my workplace is offering me more hours next week, so I'm going to have to shuffle around my face up work time a little. I'll still get everything done of course, I just won't be able to do it in one sitting as usual.
