It's May, so now I am gonna post the completed work from April, but before I get into that I wanted to go over the FYI.
The cost of living has gone up horribly this year along with my rent, so I needed to increase my prices as well. Please see Commission & Prices for the new costs. All estimates I have already provided are valid and won't be changed.
Commissions are still open, so feel free to contact me for a quote or a slot!
Now with the FYI out of the way, let's cover what aesthetics I did the last month. I worked on a Dollzone Po, an Iplehouse EID Gentle Akando, a pair of Miracle Doll 1/4 girl feet, a Dollmore Kid Sona, and a pair of Fairyland MNF Roller Skates.
Without further ado, onto some pictures under the break!
I've been super productive this month, not only did I do 6 faceups, but I also finished a manicure, a gender mod, and the long leg tattoos on a long-time commission. I feel pretty good about all the work I've done so far! I will break up the work into a couple of posts over the next few days, or the post will just go on forever.
The little FYI I want to cover is that I am going to start charging for old faceup removal, as that takes a lot of effort and time, and even materials. I sometimes sit as long as 1.5 hours at removing a faceup thoroughly so I can do my own. Charges start at €5, and can go up if the faceup is hard to remove. Thank you for understanding!
Anyway, sculpts I will show today are a Napalm Doll Hush and her hands, an Asleep Eidolon Agnes (who got the gender mod from angel to girl body), and a Dollmore Judith Zinna. Let's hop on under the read more break for the pictures!
This weekend I was able to finish both the modded Doll Leaves Laura, and the repaint on the Dollmore Dollpire Shiloh along with her hands. I'm pleased with both their end results! The DS Laura I first modded fangs onto (quite a feat with how small the head is!) and then gave her a face up. That head is literally the size of a grape! The Dollmore Shiloh needed a full body and head wipe, a restringing, manicure, face up, and I restored her 10 year old fullset wig.
Without further ado, onto some pictures under the read more cut!
I've been a busy bee since I last posted. I got a new job that I started on Monday, so I was finally able to quit my old one. That also means that I'll be able to take on more commissions now than just 5 slots as I work now part time.
Anyway, onto some pictures!
First up is a Resinsoul An in white skin. I'm getting better and better at doing blushing on white skin dolls without making them look normal skin!
And then, part of the same order as the Resinsoul An, are some Dollmore parts. Kid Dollpire hands along with Small Kitty Ears.
And then here we have a super cutie, a Dollzone Finggo I recieved in an order and simply didn't bond so I sold her. The buyer wanted me to paint her as a blue rose. Head is done, now I just need to get to her little body.
This face up also marks my 190th one! WOO!!
I finished up two commissions today, one that I have had for ages sitting with me from a friend that had given me artistic license to do whatever I wanted to on her Dollmore Gem Doll Dona. I also worked on another friend's Dollzone June.
Now for some pictures of the two!
First up we have the Dollzone June. My friend wanted her to have freckles and I gave her some of my premium eyelashes, which are pretty but such a pain to put on. They are actually human fake eyelashes that I simply trim to doll sized. Rather sad that this sculpt is discontinued...
Then here we have the Dollmore Basic Gem Doll Dona in normal skin. She's actually a fairy, but every time I tried to make her fairy like it just didn't look good, so finally I went with a biker look and it clicked. The head is minuscule, as are her hands. Putting that tattoo on her was a challenge because of her voluptuous nature.
Either way, that leaves me with only one commission now, a Doll Family-A Fox. So tell your friends about my shop if they're looking to commission someone to paint one of their lovelies!
