Finished up the Hujoo Freya that a friend handed me to face up for her. She wanted her to look somewhat like a snow bengal, so I complied to the best of my abilities with working on just the head. I might blush her back a bit too, but this morning I only had time for the head.
Isn't she cute? Detail shots below!
I had some good friends come over last night, and they each brought me a doll to face up. I managed to finish one of them, an RS Pixiu in sky blue. She told me to have fun.
This is the result:
He's a handsome fellow. I decided to keep him more simple than anything, but I'm happy (as is the commissioner) with him.
I still have another commission to do, a grey skin Hujoo Freya. She's going to be gorgeous! Such a fun little doll to play with.
Finally got around to putting some eyes into the doll and putting hair on her. Yes, this Doll Leaves Royal is a girl.
I really love her face up now. I've worked on this doll 3 times total, twice for my SO, and now for her new owner. This is my favorite face up on her, I wasn't very happy with her last one in all honesty...
Well my SO just sold, or rather traded, one of her dolls and the buyer wanted a new face up. My SO wants to mail the doll tomorrow to California, so I quickly whipped up a face up this morning.
This is the third face up I've done on this doll total, and I gotta admit, my favorite. The buyer has already seen pictures and she loves it. Once I get home from College I'm going to take some detail shots of this face up, and put some eyes in.
I was finally able to work on the patch job on the chin and lips of a little puki puki faceplate. The lips were chipped and the chin was scruffed off a bit, so I cleaned that up, wiped the lips with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip and then set to work.
I'm happy with the end result. Only the lips are mine, everything else was already there. Puki Puki heads are so puny to work on! Grape head indeed.
She's going home tomorrow since today I got class until 6pm and the post office closes at about 5pm.
Played around with Photoshop and Illustrator to make myself a new logo. I might make the text smaller, I haven't decided yet. I'm happy with it thus far.
Still waiting on two commissions to come in. One is a full body blush and face up, the other is a patch job.
I'm also starting to run low on MSC, so I'm thinking of doing a promotion:
Send me a can of MSC, half full to full, and I will do a free face up/body blush. All you'd need to do is pay shipping both ways. So it's almost like a free face up, just send me a used or new can of MSC.
What do you guys think of that?
Leave me a comment.
The weather was nice this morning so I was able to work from home. This is a Soom MD Teenie Gem Eliv. My friend who commissioned me wanted lots of pink, so lots of pink she got.
As the title says! My sale is over. No more discounts. Thank you for those that commissioned me in this time! I'm still waiting on a couple of commissions to come in, so those will be still discounted from the final work.
Come Tuesday I will work on the Soom Eliv, and hopefully soon I will receive the other two commissions I'm waiting on. One is a new face up and body blush, and the other is a patch job.
