Hello all! It's been a hot minute since I last posted, not for lack of having you content to post, but rather I had a lot of errangs and appointments these past couple of weeks. I am so grateful for everyone that commissioned me through my birthday sale last month, it's been a tremendous boost of confidence and joy!
I am still expecting a few commissions to come in, therefore I am still keeping my slots closed for now.
But in better news, I have a lot of new things to share! I have an Asleep Eidolon Agnes in SD scale, a Doll Family-A Auriel, a Dollzone Ivana set of wings, a Luts KDF Summer Event 2013 head, and a set of Smart Doll hands.
Without further ado, onto some pictures under the read more break!
First up is the Asleep Eidolon Agnes in 1/3 scale in white skin. I absolutely love doing freckles on dolls. I know I say this every time I do a Faceup with them, but it really is such a good aesthetic. The eyes are just an acrylic pair I did myself.
Then next up we have the Doll Family-A Auriel in normal yellow skin. I did have to colormatch him lighter as DF-A changed the formula of their normal yellow. He was a lot of fun to work on, I always enjoy doing facial markings on dolls. It’s just such a fun thing, and reminds me of my own characters which I created in my teens that had similar aesthetics. It makes me nostalgic heh.
Then up next we have these fancy wings on a Dollzone Ivana that I blushed and sparkled up. I used multi chrome pigments on them, so the pink shimmers between gold and pink. I have a video taken of this commission, which I’ll be posting to my Instagram (izasfaceups) in the next couple of days! I didn’t do the body blushing or Faceup. I only added the vines on the arms and legs, and painted the wings of course.
Now this is a Luts Kid Delf Summer Event head from 2013. This one was an artist choice Faceup, which I do rarely as I prefer having parameters to jump off of, even when given free choice. But I do love doing glam looks lately, it’s such a striking look.
Then last but not least we have a pair of Smart Doll Hands in cinnamon skin. They are based on an existing character, which is always an interesting and good challenge to do. They’ll be returning to the client beginning of next week.
So that is it for today. I hope you guys enjoyed seeing the detail shots of my newest completed works. Until next time!
