I've been a busy busy bee since the last time I posted. I managed to paint a Blythe head, a Figma tiny custom doll (twice), and a Volks YoSD Chinatsu, all different themes! The Blythe was an artist choice face up, the Figma got an elf ear mod and a cute anime-type face up, and the Volks became a cute little freckled girl.
Without further ado, onto some pictures under the cut!
First up is the Blythe head, that's been carved and painted green by the client. She does some pretty neat stuff and this lovely girl will be available at Blythe-Con in the USA in August if I'm not mistaken. Collaborating is pretty fun!
Here's the Figma's face up and body blush. I even did a teeny tiny elf ear mod on her per the client's request. This little one had a tendency to pop apart, but I think I got her assembled securely now. She's on her way home as I type this!
The reason I had to paint the Figma twice was because I forgot the elf ear mod and the client needed a lot of changes, so I completely redid her.
Then last, but not least, is a little Volks YoSD Chinatsu in normal skin. She's an old gal from 2007 (according to her headplate)! She actually belongs to my wife and recently underwent a character change, so a new face up (and eyes) was in order.
I really love doing freckles on dolls, and seeing freckled dolls in general are just so lovely. I recently ordered her a new wig to match the eyebrows to.
Now for my question:
I've been thinking of doing an official Patreon, but I'd like some suggestions as to what people would like to see? I'm gonna throw my old face up guide on there as I work on the new one to publish. I really really need to get my butt in gear for that. It's been years since I started the new one. I really want to make it the best it could be.
But anyway, back to the Patreon! I have a general idea of what I could offer, including lifestreams/videos, tutorials, request tutorials, and things like that.
I have 3 tiers set up currently:
That's all from me for now, until next time!
