As promised, here is the second blog post showcasing the remainder of the work I've gotten done this month. I have everything packed up and ready to go home now, with address labels and custom forms.
Today to show I have a Fantasy Doll Amber which I dyed and painted, a Goblin Tales Baby Mossling, a Flower & Junior Mizi.W, and my Dollzone April.
Without further ado, onto some pictures under the break!
First up is the Fantasy Doll Amber who I dyed from head to toe, gave her a new faceup, and made the eyes. She needed dragon eyes and scales for sure! I don't have any full body pictures of her, and she'd already back with me friend who commissioned me to dye and paint her.
Then I also painted this little Goblin Tales Baby Mossling resin figure for the same friend. Their eldest son got to pick the theme, and he wanted a berry yogurt cup on him. So that's what I did and I gotta say, he turned out adorable!
Next up is the Flower & Junior Mizi.W in normal skin. She arrived with rests of a very stubborn faceup, which took a lot of elbow grease to remove. But at least it came off and I was able to repaint her. The paint spots shimmer and I also made the eyes for her, as she arrived with brown ones, but the client wanted golden ones for her.
And last, but not least, is my own Dollzone April, whose old faceup I always found far too messy. She seems to be another one of those dolls of mine that will need multiple faceups before I am happy with her. I'm gonna give the paint job some time, before I redo it. At least I am happier with the lips this time around!
A quick comparison of her last and current faceup. I gave her fresh eyelashes as hers were smooshed. She also got new eyes, in resin, which I bought secondhand. I think she looks lovely with them!
So yeah, this is all the work I've gotten through this last month. I am excited to see what my next commissions bring me onto the table.
That's all from me for now, until next time!
