I don't have as much work to show for the month of June as I normally do as I was sick for half of it. But I did manage to get some stuff worked on and finished before and on the tailend of my illness.
I still have lots of commissions to finish up, so slots will remain closed for now until my load lightens a bit. Thank you for understanding, I am hoping to re-open slots at the end of this month.
I got two faceups and a body blush done in June. One faceup is on a Faewoods Dolls Delphinium, and the other was done on a Doll Leaves Betty along with her body.
Without further ado, onto some pictures and rambling under the break!
First up is the Faewoods Dolls Delphinium in moca skin. She belongs to a very dear friend of mine, and I am honored that they chose me again to paint this character of theirs. The character is on her third shell, and I've gotten to paint each one, which I am grateful for. Faewoods Dolls have such a unique aesthetic, and are lovely all around. Also, chunky freckles are an A+ look!
Then here we have the faceup of the Doll Leaves Betty in white skin. This one was the most intensive commission I've done in a long time. I modded one eye to closed and carved cracks into the other cheek. She got one black and one white eyelash as well to match the reference. She is based on Ranni the Witch from Eldenring, I even modded slots onto her torso for a second set of arms.
Let me also show the extensive work on the body:
And here is her Doll Leaves Dream Girl V2 body in white skin. All the cracks are carved into the body, I extra got myself an engraving tool to make it easier for me to do the extensive mods. She was a very labor intensive commission, and took me forever to get done, but now she is done and is ready to go home.
This is it for today with new work. I am working on other doll things too, but I don't have good pictures of them yet. I have several things in progress for commissions, and will continue working on them this week as I am finally over being sick. It took 2 rounds of antibiotics to get me well enough now to resume doing things. I've been doodling a little on my tablet, but nothing super intensive just to get back into the swing of doing creative work.
Thank you for reading and until next time!
