I was busy in November, and now in December too, so I got a couple of new things to show! I repainted my Lost Chronicles Allurial, and two commission faceups on a Faewoods Dolls Orchidaceae and an Immortality of Soul (old) Jaguar.
I have a good start on my remaining commissions as well, so those should be done soon once the weather stops pouring rain or being too humid.
Anyway, without further ado, onto some pictures below the break!
First up is my repaint of my Lost Chronicles Allurial in white skin color matched to DF-H normal yellow. These pictures do not do her justice! She’s my third shell for my character Sam, but she’s the best one yet. As a pirate she needed piercings, and as a siren she needed scales.
Before I jump to the next faceup, here’s a quick comparison of her previous to current faceup. She literally went through a character change within 2 or 3 days of me painting the previous faceup, but it’s okay. For the shimmery paint elements such as the scales I use Coliro Pearlcolors, and they are a pain to scrub off but at least they do not stain!
Next up I wanted to show the Faewoods Dolls Orchidaceae in mint skin. The client wanted dark makeup, freckles, and sharp cat eyes. The resin color was an interesting challenge to work on, but a good experience! I look forward to working on more brightly colored resins.
Then last, but certainly not least, is an Immortality of Soul Jaguar old type in white skin. I had a lot of fun with painting him and giving him fun piercings. His teeth proved to be an interesting challenge as only the canines were defined, but he definitely needed some definition for the rest of his teeth.
He came with a faceup to me, but he'd been color matched to a different body by the previous owner. The client wanted me to keep the faceup similar and natural, but without the color matching. It's always fun seeing the same sculpt with the same concepts but executed by different hands.
I have a couple more things to get through, like the two sets of hands (one has its mods done, so only painting left on that set), and the legs on Mr. Bamboo are started too. I have the sketch on them and sealed, so now I just need to color and line them.
I still have slots open, so if you're wanting a faceup or other aesthetic services, please do drop me a line. Until next time!
