I think I finally beat the crud for the most part, so to celebrate I repainted my girl Winter. She is a Soom MD Beyla Romantic head on a Fairyland LTF body with Daisy Dayes hooves. She's a fun little hybrid! I've been meaning to repaint her for several months now, especially since I gave her little wings that I painted for her in December. I need to get some full body pictures of her sometime.
Anyway, onto some pictures under the cut!
Despite having caught some sort of crud, I managed to be somewhat productive. I've been sick a week now, but I think I'm on the mend! Either way, I finally was able to document the Fairyland LTF Wings this past week, and I painted my wife's Flower & Junior Mizi.W head!
I also got a large order of eyelashes in from Taobao so that's great too. I can't wait to use some of them! I got 10 pairs of black, 10 pairs of brown, 8 pairs of white, 6 pairs of blue, yellow, and purple, and 4 pairs of bright red. These should last me a while!
Without further ado, onto some pictures under the read more break.
I was a busy bee this week, besides painting a Luts SDF 2016 Summer Event head, I also cleaned most of the apartment with my wife. She's finally back in Austria for the time being. Hopefully for good this time! Can't say more on it currently though.
But anyway, onto some pictures of the Luts head under the read more break!
Since I was out of commissions this past week, I decided to blush the torso of my LoongSoul 69cm small bust body in normal pink skin. I have one more commission on me that I just recently received, so once it stops snowing I'll be working on that head too. It's a Luts SDF 2016 Summer Event head that I recently sold to a friend.
Anyway, onto some pictures! I'll put them under the cat as they are NSFW in nature due to the nudity!
Well that was quick! I received a 3 head commission on Friday, and since I had nothing better to do and didn't feel like wiping any of my dolls I painted all 3 heads this weekend. I also blushed my LoongSoul ShenLuo's beast hands to boot.
The 3 heads were a Dream of Doll Petsha and two Doll Leaves Theresa heads. The DS heads are twins, but with different personalities. I had fun with all!
Anyway onto some pictures under the read more cut!
I hope everyone's had a good slide into the new year, I certainly did! I finally got the doll I ordered back in September on January 2nd, and I spent New Year's Eve with my sister and some friends. It was nice! Plus my wife is coming back for at least another 90 days on the 18th of this month! YAY!!
For the new work I have a Doll Love YouYou to show who I finished painting in December but was waiting on eyelashes, and my new girl, a LoongSoul ShenLuo Western White Tiger.
Without further ado, pictures under the cut!
I don't have new work quite to post yet, I'm waiting on some eyelashes to arrive that seem to have gone missing in the post sadly. I really need them too to finish up a commission and be able to send it back to the client.
Anyway, I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holidays! In my family we celebrate Christmas, so Merry Christmas to those that are so inclined!
Also I'm still open for slots for commissions! If you want a slot for January, please don't hesitate to send me a message on my contact page. I'm always up for new challenges and work with all sizes and themes!
Sorry for dropping off of the face off the earth, but I was a busy bee this past weekend to make up for it! I completed 2 face ups and started on another.
The two I finished were a CP Luts Delf modded SS Chiwoo and a Switch Shiho. The third face up I started on is on a Doll Love YouYou. I also never showed the color matched Doll Leaves Dreaming Jax! I'll need to post her too.
Without further ado, onto some pictures!
I managed to get wickedly sick last weekend and spent some time recovering while also running errands for my family. But I am now well again and able to post my latest face up on a Soom MD Wolf Knight R (human) head! He's in normal skin, and I gave him a generic pretty boy face up as he's for sale from my wife (I'm handling the sale though as he's in my possession at this time).
Anyway, onto some pictures!
He's a handsome head, but my wife is reshelling the character into a different head, and will be getting his twin down the line too. It's easier to make twins with a more readily available head. We're keeping the body at least though!
Anyway, I have commissions trickling in again, one just arrived all the way from New Zealand! I still have a slot open for November if anyone is interested in a face up from me!
Though I do have an FYI:
I'm flying for a week to Miami, Florida in the USA to see my wife for Thanksgiving. So obviously in that week I won't be producing any new work. I'm excited to see my wife again! It's been a little over a month since she had to leave Austria. My family and I are continuing the battle to move her here with me!
That's all from me for now, until next time!
Since I'm still waiting on my next commissions to come in, I decided to repaint a head I modded ages ago for my wife. The head is a Dollzone April, who I modded from open-eyed to dreaming. It was my first eye mod ever, so it's not perfect, but it looks good enough!
Without further ado, onto some pictures!
My wife has always wanted me to match her face up to the default on her normal Dollzone April. I had to try and color match, which let me tell you is difficult without an airbrush, to cover the mods. She turned out a little dark, but it's hard to tell in pictures. I'm already plotting how I'd redo this face up down the line.
Here you can see the original face up I slapped on her on the left. It was very pretty, but not quite what my wife wanted. It only took me 3-4 years to redo the head. It was low priority since my wife rarely plays with her dolls anymore, but I was itching to paint something, so she was grabbed out of the parts drawer, haha!
I will end this post with a comparison picture of the two Dollzone April heads. On the left is the modded one, on the right is the un-modded one with default face up that I added freckles to.
Until next time!
