Since this May I'm graduating and I just started a new job at Edible Arrangements, I'll have to take a break from commissions in May. I got two more commissions incoming and one with me so I will try to get those done before May so I can focus on other aspects of my life.
I love painting dolls, but with my new full time job right before mother's day it's going to be insane. I'll have to pull a 60hour week during that time while hanging my senior show as well.
The prices will be frozen at this rate for several months, so no worries there. Thank you to everyone that's commissioned me thus far!
That's right. I found time this morning to finish up the body hair blush on the Lumedoll and knock out the raffle winner's face up on top of it.
Look at him be hairy! Now I just need to get him approved, paid, and shipped home! I hope his owner will love his look in person as well. She loved the pictures, but she hasn't seen the arm hair blush yet.
For this boy I was asked to not fully finish the face up (no gloss or eyelashes) because the owner wants to do some more work on him. I can't wait to see how she'll complete him!
Sorry about being so quiet lately. Things have been hectic with graduation coming up and I'm about to start a new job. Today I have a staff meeting where I get to meet everyone that I'll be working with.
I still have a few commissions to finish up, which I'm hoping to knock out either tomorrow or Friday, depending on what my schedule is going to be.
Just for you information, I raised my prices and I'm freezing them for a while at this. Those who have already gotten quotes or am waiting on being sent out will still get the old prices. Thank you everyone for commissioning me thus far! You guys are awesome.
And now for the face ups.
First up is the Fairyland RealPuki Tyni with both of his faces.
And here's a better shot of Mr. Blue-Body-Hair. Gonna try to work on his arms soon. It'll be fun.
Yesterday I worked on the Lumedoll Rischa, making him super hairy. I'm nearly done with him, I just need to do the arm hair still, but I ran out of steam after working on him for about 5 hours straight.
I'm quite happy with the result thus far, this is the first time I've done body hair on a doll, and only the third time doing facial hair. I was amazed at how tiny his eyes are.
