I was a busy busy bee these past few weekends and managed to complete two huge multipart commissions! There's so much to show I'm going to have to put things under the cut.
I completed the Nefer Kane Mystery Elf, Nefer Kane Sarina, Doll Chateau Snowman, and the Resinsoul Nian! I still have a lot more to work on of course, but I'm hoping to do that today despite the rain...
Anyway, pictures under the cut!
First up we have the Nefer Kane Mystery Elf in normal skin and the Sarina in white skin, both with face ups and body blushes. Definitely very interesting sculpts even if not quite my cup of tea! The Mystery Elf is super small as shown in my previous blog post where I held one of her eyes with my finger.
Then here we have the Doll Chateau Snowman and his bucket, all in white skin. I made a handle for the bucket out of a paper clip and pliers. Stays by itself and easily removable! I had fun with the snowflake, and found some half pearls in black in my case of stick ons for face ups that matched perfectly with the eyes.
And finally, the Resinsoul Nian in normal and white skin! All the blushing was done with pastels because I don't know how to airbrush. I'm really happy with how smooth the gradients turned out! The gold accents are done with gold watercolor paint, and then glossed after sealing for extra shine. The whole boy is sparkly, especially in light! He had a black wig so far, but the owner wants to get him a different one now that he's painted. I can't wait to see him all put together!
Anyway, that's all from me for now. I'm gonna try to work on more stuff this weekend. I'm hoping that by October I can reopen commissions!
